Recently, me and my family have decided to boycott Bollywood movies and also Netflix for various reasons. I guess am already late in writing this post but late is better than never.
Movies are a great source of entertainment. And I used to watch all kinds of movies.
But with the time passed, I stopped watching Bollywood movies due to their constant Hindu-phobic narration.
The so-called secular Bollywood is shamelessly Hindu-phobic.
I want to clarify that this article is absolutely based on facts. I am going to give you many examples in this post.
Bollywood is Hindu-phobic
Bollywood is not only Hindu-phobic but it is also highly biased. It is surely soft on Islam and Muslims. I have no problems for particular religion but then why mocking Hinduism in most of the films?
I agree, all societies have some flaws and those flaws must be called out. But Bollywood kept targeting only Hindu culture.
In research done by Professor Mr.Dheeraj Sharma of IIM, Ahmedabad , 18 out of those 20 movies showed Muslims as warm-hearted and welcoming people who are ready to help and Indians are shown as religious extremists, orthodox and reserved people.
Stereo-typicality in Indian cinema is not a healthy trend
It becomes objectionable and malicious when it consistently portrays Hindus and Hinduism in a bad light.
Our young generation never study or cross verify the things. But blindly believes in the movies.
Take any movie or series, Vaastav, Sanju, Singham, Sarkar, Sacred games etc; the bad guys in all these movies and series always wear a Tilak or anything which can identify them as Hindus.
Can you give me the reasons? Why was that red tilak required on forehead of criminals? Why not a normal person or any other religion person?
On the other hand, Bollywood makes movies which glorify Muslim dons like “Once upon a time in Mumbai”, “Haseena Parkar”, “Raees”.
Dons are shown as kind, and good at heart. But situation made them the way they are. OH !!
Because it’s show business and it’s fashion to mock Hinduism which is the most tolerant religion on the planet .
Early days of Indian Cinema:
Lets go back to the initial years of Indian Cinema. Dada Saheb Phalke is known as the father of Indian Cinema and he made the first file “Raja Harishchandra” in 1913. Right?
Over his life span he made around 94 films and some notable movies are Mohini Bhasmasur (1913), Satyavan Savitri (1914), Lanka Dahan (1917), Shri Krishna Janma (1918) and Kaliya Mardan (1919). All great movies with great subjects.
You can make it from the name that most of these movies are based on History of Hindu kings, Hindu Mythology and Hindu beliefs.
Most of the other producers were making the similar kind of movies as India was predominantly Hindu Country.
Gradually there were movies made on Social Issues, Patriotism , Freedom struggles etc.
Still in this era the cinema was more towards sending a good message to the people by way of telling stories and it was kind of Art with social service.
Slowly movie subjects included Love Stories, Crime Stories , Family , Dance and so on. This is when cinema started to become mode of entertainment and also its considered a business.
In 60s it became the most glamorous business where Actors were considered like GOD etc.
BUT.
Hindu-phobia in Bollywood begins:
The release of the movie Deewar showed the first sign of Hindu-phobia on a big screen.
And the writers of Deewar are Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. This movie had a significant impact on Indian Cinema with spread of hindu phobia.
The hero, Vijay Verma was portrayed as a gray character. He does bad things, but he is good at heart.
He is shown as an atheist, who questions his own gods. This was okay.
Interesting part is, the character of Vijay insults Hindu gods, never enters temple, hate prasada but at the same time, he wears the badge of Islamic number 786 with huge respect throughout the movie. Don’t you find it little weird?
And after that it became a regular thing to show in our movies.
Bollywood narration worked so well that most of the times Hindu priests are shown as thugs, all Baniyas are corrupt, Marwadis are dishonest and frugal, Bihari Hindus are poor and limited to only auto driver work and Sikhs are born comedians.
They can easily sell off Hindu-phobia as entertainment, but at the same time they are afraid to show social reality of other cultures and religions till today.
They are afraid that they will lose their lives or they will be compelled to leave India. I believe that our country has diversity in languages as well as religions.
But slowly, Indians realized that how Bollywood and Television is used to demonize Hindus & Hinduism. Again and again.
So being a common man, what’s in our hand except going with the trend of boycott Bollywood movies?
Why Laxmi bomb is boycotted ?
Even you can take the example of latest movie of Akshay Kumar Laxmi. (original Telugu movie Kanchana).
The characters are same as in the original but in this case, all the characters remain the same except the male character “Raghav” is replaced by “Asif” & it was an intentional move.
Our young generation will not understand the deep meaning of this but this is going to affect them to.
An indirect attempt to lose faith in Hindu Gods & religious beliefs. They changed the character of a Shri Ram Bhakt Raghav from Kanchana to a Muslim “Asif”.
So, basically in this movie Asif does #LoveJihad on Priya and concur with Laxmi. There was a scene in the trailer wherein Priya’s family tried protecting themselves by holding our God & Goddesses picture but failed except Asif who wins over Laxmi.
You can vomit after watching overacting of Akshay shown in some promos.
Why #BanNetflix is trending now ?
Other example, there’s a controversy after web series titled Krishna and His Leela shows a male character having sexual encounters with several women and one of the women named Radha.
Web Series #KrishnaAndHisLeelaOnNetflix showing #Krishna have sexual affairs with many women & one of them named as #Radha.
The audacity to openly target #Hinduism wth lies, deceit, propagandaWhy always insult our Gods?

The names of the Hindu deities with an erotic content has irked people and they trended ‘Boycott Netflix’ on micro-blogging site Twitter. This is happening frequently.
Next, Netflix India has been accused of insulting Hindus and Hinduism after one of the recent movies on the platform mocked Hindu God Hanuman in one of its scenes. The movie ‘Chippa’, writen and directed by one Safdar Rahman, shows a scene where an old man tells a tale about his great-grandmother to a child where she supposedly slapped one ‘Hanuman’ and the ‘Hanuman’ fled away.
The movie supposedly ends with a scene that shows a man kicking the same child while chanting the Hanuman Chalisa. Netizens are outraged over the insult to the Hindu God.
Hindus have been requesting @netflix to stop insulting Hindus and their deities; but it seems they do it intentionally. A suitable boy:
An FIR was registered in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, 23 November 2020, against two executives of Netflix for allegedly hurting religious sentiments through its web series A Suitable Boy which showed kissing scenes purportedly on the campus of a Mahadev temple, an official said.

Hinduism is the world’s oldest religion, according to many scholars. And this Bollywood industry is consistently mocking it.

And our own Bharat Mata is shown like such way, we shame on Bollywood. Blood boiling scene. And there are many such examples.
Bollywood is Controlled by underworld:
Please watch the following:
Terror organizations across the world use money obtained from drug and sex trafficking to fund their terror activities. Bollywood’s links to each of these illegal activities are already exposed.
These big actors like Anil Kapoor have no feeling for innocent lives. But they have only interest for their roles. And how they’re under control of underworld people:
Boycott Bollywood Movies:
Recently, Ravi Kishan had raised the issue of drug trafficking and conduct of Bollywood, and demanded an inquiry.
“Drug trafficking, with the help of Pakistan and China, is booming in our country. And I regret to say that my film industry is also in the grip of drugs. Some arrests have been made by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau). I request the government to further investigate to find out the culprits and eliminate this from our country,”
And on this statement Mrs.Jaya Bachchan was very angry (?). She said that some people in the entertainment industry are among the highest taxpayers and the government should come forward to support and protect the industry.
So I had a question for Jaya ji.
The question is, if you’re a highest tax payer, does it mean you’ve the right to do anything which is illegal in our country? And not only illegal but it’s highly harmful for the citizens of our country.
The people or makers of such movies don’t bother about Hindus’ protest, they don’t even apologize and continue the same because we keep our tolerance level high.
Anyways. Guys, think over it. This is happening in our country. Keep your eyes open. At least boycott Bollywood movies if possible and if you agree with my points.
The money we spend on these movie tickets or currently on such web series subscription, is indirectly going outside through many ways.
I know that not everyone in the industry is the same but I have lost all the trust and respect on many Bollywood celebs. The industry is changed and we have to respond to such changes.
We just can’t believe anyone. No idea whose name will come next in drugs. I have so much to express but need to stop here.
Shouldn’t we, as responsible citizens, have figured out the true nature of this industry by now?.

The article is well written and I like the way the content is arranged. However you have missed major part of bollywood where we all always been phished unknowingly…. songs. All hindu characters in movies from almost last 20 years sings rabba, alha and kh**a in most of songs.. somehow its injected in lyrics without any connection.
Yep. You’re right. May be that’s why some people call it Urduwood instead of Bollywood.
thanks for notifying this view/ angle of bollywood. Completely agree with u.
Thank you Tai 🙏
Very well explained on Boycott Bollywood movies.. ..as a common man we also think the same at some point .. but we fail to express ..
Purpose of the bollywood cinema has changed now a days..no creative subjects to motivate or educate people..or even no entertainment..some movies are such where we can’t even understand what is the purpose of this movie with such a renowned stars..its just becoming more of a money making machine..and showoff ..big sets and all..
Absolutely true👍
Yes . You covered all reality points
Completely agree with boycott this type of movies.
They are targeting Hindu
Thanks,
Correct.. It’s showing fact.. we should ban Bollywood
Well covered and 100% truth, bollywood have created a imaginary INDIA, and they are keep selling it since many decades, but when youths travel to remotest part of the nation and unable to find it, and later started to doubt the bubble created by the urduwood mafia. E.g. people living out of metro cities are un-educated and filthy, I travelled upto border in kutch and found doctors, engineers and great farmer, all are well versed with technology and rational. If you cover the movies in Pakistan and later in India, you will be amazed to see the similarity, both will be just propaganda machine to promote Islam
Yes. And unfortunately we were the audience. Better late, we have to be aware that these ppl are selling such things under the name of entertainment. And we should boycott. It will make a difference.
